After a 3 month absense from DBCR we are up here at Danforth Bay on January 6th in one of the toasty warm cabins. Everything is perfect. The only crime is that several of the cabins are empty. In fact we may be the only cabin campers. There is plenty of heat and hot water here. If you plan your visit this winter at Danforth Bay's cabin you really only need to bring:
- Towels for the shower (which is in the cabin)
- Cooler to store ice-cubes
- TV (I'll check for cable hook-up later)
- Extra paper towels, napkins, etc. that you may typically use.
The only thing that I would add in the cabin is perhaps a small TV (and or radio). Guests have requested coffee makers. I'm really hoping that Danforth Bay store will be open so I get a hot cup of coffee before heading to King Pine.
