Our little boy was attacked by mosquitos on Sunday this weekend even though we had repellent on him. (We probably didn't put enough on him.) We took a walk through the woods at the campground. Sunday night he had a small bite but by Monday morning his face was swollen up. Benadryl did the trick to get the swelling down.
Watch out this season and replenish your bug repellent on the kids often!

Do you know if the campground does anything to control the mosquitos, either spraying or Mosquito Magnets?
I don't believe Danforth Bay does any spraying. I'm pretty sure they DO NOT. I typically only noticed a bad mosquito problem in early June after all the wet weather from the spring. After that the mosquitoes seem to be normal (or even non existant). I heard from one of the staff that because the large dragon fly population usually eats them up.
