Ossipee Lake Trip

We rented a small Pontoon Boat at Ossipee Lake Marina for 1/2 day. We could not have picked a better day!!!
If you stay at Danforth Bay you can get a 15% discount off of rentals from the booklet!
The boat however was quite disappointing. It was 25HP and very slow and tipsy but we had a good time anyways. We stopped off at Long Sands.

Hey Bob,
Don't see any responses from anyone else. So I thought I would say Hi! My family and I have been going to Danforth Bay since they opened, every Labor Day. We occupy all the sites down on merry meeting lane. Or The c30's sites and we love it we currrently have 13 sites! Wow.
You said all in your blog just a great place!

Hi Bob,
Thought I left a message earlier but I guess it didn't post. So here it goes again. my family and I have been going to Danforth Bay since they opened and you are so right! I look forward to this trip every year. It's also 1 of my favorite times of year weather wise and it's great to be on the lake!! We have grown from 7 sites to 13 sites and we love every minute of it last year we had 21 kids in the group! Wow. There willbe more this year too I now have a 2 month old daughter this will be her 2nd trip camping. For those who like to travel I recommend Bailey's Campgroung in Old Orchard, Maine. Another great family campground and only 10 minutes to the beach and amusements.
Happy camping!

Labordaycamper,

Thanks for posting! Not many people do. To prevent spammers I have to monitor the posts.

Wow! 13 sites booked for Labor Day. We will be up. Stop by and say hello if you wish.

I agree Bayley's is a GREAT campground. Wow camping with a 2 month old. I believe my son was 3 weeks old when we first camped (wasn't supposed to be until he was 2 months but my wife couldn't wait!).

Happy camping! Thanks for posting!
